Our ethical code
Research can sometimes raise sensitive issues with important ethical implications. DermIng therefore set up an Independent Multidisciplinary Ethical Committee made up of internationally renowned experts. It is their responsibility to examine borderline cases, and to analyse documentation relating to experiments before, during and after every test. This ensures the integrity and privacy of volunteers and the interests of the sponsors of the research.
The constitution of an Ethical Committee by private companies like DermIng is not regulated by any legislation covering this field, but is a VOLUNTARY ACT aiming to safeguard the rights, safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in the research project.
